Lorraine Bell - East Brighton Business Community Manager
Lorraine works for the Brighton & Hove Business Community Partnership and runs a business support project on behalf of the regeneration programme in east Brighton area of 'eb4U' (east Brighton New Deal for Communities).
Her position involves managing the 'ebbs' east Brighton business support project that assists residents and businesses in the eb4U area develop their business plans. The project also helps to link business & community/voluntary sector relationships. Lorraine joined the Chamber to build up her contacts and networks across the City. She promotes the business community of east Brighton and the area as a viable business hub and promotes the Chamber to her clients.
Lorraine was invited on to the Chamber's Executive Committee as an honorary member in April 2004 to champion the east Brighton area, advises the chamber on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) best practice and social enterprise.
Lorraine is also a member of the Chamber Events group with the aim of producing good quality events to satisfy all members. As a CSR advocate, Lorraine is developing the Chambers CSR activity and encourages members to be more socially responsible in their business practices.
Lorraine works in eb4U Moulsecoomb office opposite the recently refurbished Fairway Business Park and will shortly be housed in the new Westergate Business Centre providing office incubation and warehouse units.
Prior to her current role Lorraine was the Community Relations Manager for London City Airport. She currently lives in Hove.
