June Breakfast: Paul Young - From man on a mission to Superman
Friday 29 June
Sponsored by 02
Paul Young is founder and chief executive of Off the Fence, a local charity for vulnerable people. Off the Fence opened in 1997 with an initial budget of just £3000, offering support to vulnerable, often homeless people in Brighton & Hove. Ten years on, it is a £300K award-winning charity with a range of funding streams and a vision of being among the best in its field.
Paul recently joined many other runners in the February half-marathon. Never one to take the easy option, he ran dressed as Superman - just one of many ways he leads from the front. Paul will tell the story of Off the Fence, and draw out the many similarities between leading a business and building a charity from scratch. Prepare to be inspired!
