CVSF helps community groups and voluntary organisations to work together to influence local policies and plans. CVSF is a member-led organisation, and has over 500 community groups and voluntary organisations in its membership. CVSF brings its members together to network and identify key issues and proirities for community groups, voluntary organsiations and the city's communities. CVSF then elects representatives from within its membership who represent CVSF members views to partners in the city. CVSF is keen to work with the business sector in Brighon and Hove to connect community groups and voluntary organisations with local businesses and to build relationships which will benefit the city's communities. CVSF can faciliate conversations between local businesses and community groups and voluntary organisations and can act as a gateway into the community and voluntary sector for the business sector.
