Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce is a membership organisation that is building a big business community in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area. It supports local business people with a dynamic and varied events calendar and opportunities to raise their profile through the many marketing opportunities on the Chamber’s website and social media. The Chamber is the voice of the City's business people, and it's a voice that really helps its members build a successful businesses. As well as helping local businesses grow and prosper, we represent our members on the larger political and economic stage too, working closely with local agencies, including the Council, on issues like business legislation, building programmes and regional transport.We have a team of full-time staff and volunteer experts who design and co-ordinate our strategy for supporting members.They are busy, successful practitioners in their own right, and they are the creative force and brains behind our brand, technology, events and training. The FSB is non-profit making and non-party political. The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK's largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. Formed in 1974, it now has 200,000 members across 33 regions and 194 branches. Our lobbying arm - led by the Westminster Press and Parliamentary office - applies pressure on MPs, Government and Whitehall and puts the FSB viewpoint over to the media. CVSF is a member-led organisation, and has over 500 community groups and voluntary organisations in its membership. CVSF then elects representatives from within its membership who represent CVSF members views to partners in the city. CVSF is keen to work with the business sector in Brighon and Hove to connect community groups and voluntary organisations with local businesses and to build relationships which will benefit the city's communities. CVSF can faciliate conversations between local businesses and community groups and voluntary organisations and can act as a gateway into the community and voluntary sector for the business sector.
