The 'Potty and eventful journey' Breakfast

Since setting up Potcakes in 2000, Judith Young has produced events of all shapes and sizes across the globe, from an awards ceremony for Ericsson Worldwide in Rio de Janeiro to the opening ceremony in Mauritius for Mo Ibrahim Foundation’s Index of African Governance and several Labour Party conferences.

Judith has worked in the industry for over 25 years and with a variety of clients from a broad range of industries including the Labour Party, Waitrose, Heron, Budgens and Londis and The AA. She lives and breathes every aspect of production from set design, video and slide creation through to logistics and fault-free execution. Her experience, creativity and use of the latest materials and technologies have transformed venues into special events, exceeding clients’ expectations.

Originally based in London, Judith decided to join Brighton’s bustling media community and moved Potcakes down to in 2010. Now after every event, Judith makes the most of the beach to recharge her batteries.

At this Inspirational breakfast Judith will be talking about making the bold decision to start her own company. She’ll cover her journey to becoming a leading influence in political style, corporate innovation and video style creation...along with what happens when it all goes wrong.
