At this exclusive lunch event at The Grand Hotel, guest speaker Professor David Miles will provide his perspective on the outlook for inflation and growth of the UK economy and his views on what this means for monetary policy.

David will be interested in taking feedback from attendees at the event.

Your ticket includes a drink on arrival and a two-course lunch.

About David Miles

Professor David Miles joined the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England in June 2009. As an economist, David has focused on the interaction between financial markets and the wider economy. He was also Chief UK Economist at Morgan Stanley from October 2004 to May 2009.

David has been a specialist economic advisor to the Treasury Select Committee and is currently a council member of the Royal Economic Society, a research fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research and at the CESIFO research institute in Munich. David is also former editor of Fiscal Studies.
