Local Issues Debate: does Brighton need a business district?

Join us
for an evening of fiery debate where we’ll be asking you: does Brighton need a business district?
A business district is a very high-density, centrally-located area of retail and commercial buildings, often with the tallest buildings in a city. They exist because it means you can fit a large number of businesses and economic activity within a very small land area. Do you think a Business district would benefit Brighton? If so, where would such a place be located? Would it ruin Brighton's vibe? Do you think it would make companies more or less likely to base themselves in Brighton?
At this
interactive discussion, it’s your chance to get involved – whether you want to stand
up and have your say or simply vote with your feet.
Before
and after the event, there’ll be a paid bar available and the chance for some
informal networking.
Entry is free*,
so all you need to do is bring along an opinion and be ready to get involved.
*Although this is a free event, places are limited so booking is essential
A paid
bar will be provided by Elwood Wines.
Venue
kindly provided by City College Brighton & Hove.
