The ‘Generation Y needs you!’ Breakfast

With Guest speaker Aroop Tanna, Director of Magnified Learning.

Am I bovvered?  You need to be ... because Generation Y needs you!

Caricatures like Catherine Tate’s Lauren, Harry Enfield’s Kevin and Perry and Little Britain’s Vicky Pollard can affect young people’s career opportunities and value to the business community.

This next generation of employees/customers has a critical role in navigating our economy through stormy times. They are battered with negative messages of a future of doom and gloom, expensive education, early debt, no job prospects, global competition for jobs and the media portraying them with negative stereotypes.

Aroop Tanna is Director of Magnified Learning, a consultancy promoting dialogue between businesses and young people through inspirational and motivational education programmes.

At this Inspirational breakfast Aroop will explain how he became frustrated at the lack of suppliers of high impact work-based activities to develop young people’s skills so he set up Magnified Learning, believing he could do better. Six years on, the company is designing and delivering a wide range of education programmes for corporate clients involving hundreds of employees, working directly with thousands of school and college students each year, inspiring and helping them prepare for the future.

Talk to the hands? And the faces too.
