The ‘Augmented Reality’ Breakfast

Digicave was founded on the principal that just using photography and video on the web was like strapping pram wheels to spaceships – their mission is take the coolest new technology from the world of academic research and drag it into the mass market so we can all have a go!

Digicave’s first round of technology, launched this year, allows them to capture real objects and people to create perfect digital models in 3D. It also allows them to project virtual objects into the real world using Augmented Reality.

When Digicave started two years ago it had no technology and no money – just some very interesting ideas. Since launching only ten weeks ago, they have already had interest from some of the world’s leading brands and have been invited to exhibit in Las Vegas and Mumbai.

At this breakfast, Al Tredinnick will talk about his journey in setting up this company with his friends and how networking has been essential to their success.
