October Business Skills

The Colour of Money

Whether you are a freelancer or CEO, cash is the lifeblood of your business. It can be hard to earn, harder to keep hold of and, is of course, easy to spend!

You may have a book-keeper or accountant but do you really have a handle on what's coming in and out of your business? Do you know how much you need to earn before you can take on a member of staff or have that holiday in the Bahamas? Or are you bound for Bognor.

Our October Business Skills event will feature three fantastic experts who won't scare you with spreadsheets or blind you with jargon, but will give you some expert help and advice that is both practical and realistic.

Whether you work for yourself or for someone else, if you've run a business for years or are just starting out, understanding and managing your money effectively keeps you at the top of your game and gives you the control and power to keep those money trees growing!

Carole Jordan
of Business Heads will be talking about how to get the money flowing in to your business faster, and how to keep it there for longer.

Simonne Gnessen of Wise Monkey financial coaching is the author of Sheconomics and will be giving you tips on how to get your personal finances under control.

And our own vice president Julia Chanteray from The Joy of Business will be giving her tips for cutting costs.
