September 10th Breakfast

The ‘Power of Words’ Breakfast
New Writing South, the literary development agency for the South-East, was founded five years ago by Director Chris Taylor and Trustee Anna McGrail with the aim of creating an environment in which creative writers and new writing can flourish; developing and nurturing writers and encouraging a thriving new writing economy in our region.
Today, New Writing South have a Creative Learning Team of 27 professional authors, poets and playwrights who work in both formal and informal educational settings with young people, parents, and hundreds of other adults.
Along with their new scheme, Writers at Work, which brings writers into the workplace to improve written communication skills, New Writing South also run events and writer performances, put on dozens of workshops and courses throughout the south east, offer advice and information and publish a weekly E-News and quarterly magazine.
At this ‘Power of Words’ breakfast, director Chris Taylor and Creative Learning Manager Anna Jefferson will talk about the importance of harnessing your creative voice to be more productive.
