Advanced Excel for Professionals

You probably use Microsoft Excel on a regular basis – every office needs spreadsheets. But are you aware of the other powerful features this package offers? For example, did you know it can do mathematical sums without using formulas, compare information in different documents and add graphics to your presentations?

This is an opportunity to spend a day with an expert tutor and a small group of learners. By the end of the workshop you will be able to use Excel to really improve your business processes and productivity. It will be a day well spent.

You will learn how to

• Use advanced functions
• Create lookups and data tables
• Manage large lists of data
• Create and use PivotTables and PivotCharts
• Export and Import data
• Analyse data effectively
• Create basic macros
• Use conditional formatting

About the trainer

Kate Morgan is an experienced adult and further education lecturer. She has been teaching Excel courses at City College for many years and runs classes for adult learners, full time and further education students.
