Where are all my friends? Practical tips on building relationships with the social web

Business is about relationships - who you know, gaining trust and building a reputation.
The social web has exploded in recent years, making some people appear successful overnight. However, if you look deeply, each success has their own story to tell and have taken many trusted steps to get where they are today.
In this introductory workshop we assume you know a little already about the social web (think Twitter and Facebook) and have touched the surface on building your own community. You may feel a bit stuck or feel a bit down because you don't have as many friends as Stephen Fry, so we’re here to help.
What we’ll be doing:
- Going in depth into real life social networking set ups, and seeing how to develop these much further*
- Looking at why business relationship building has changed and where it is heading
- Looking at you and your personal brand - who do you want to be? How do people perceive you?
- Where to start? - Real practical steps you can take to build trusted relationships within your community
- Giving you the chance to ask lots of questions about what you should do to make the most of the social web for your business
And we’ll relax after the learning with a glass of wine and some face to face 'social' networking.
* email rosie@schux.com if you are happy for us to use your situation as a real life example on the night
