State of the City is a free event open to all of the business community in Brighton & Hove. This annual event has been designed to offer an open forum and dialogue between the local business community and the influential individuals and organisations that help shape the economic, social and political landscape within the city.

Tony Mernagh of the Brighton & Hove Business Forum will provide a brief presentation about where we are at the moment, followed by a ‘Question Time’ format for businesses to put forward their points and questions about current issues and plans for the city. The evening’s debate is being facilitated by

Confirmed panelists are:

  • Chris Baker, head of economic and social engagement, University of Brighton
