The 'Spotlight on Business in the Community' Supper

Corporate Social Responsibility was once synonymous with big businesses and financial donations.
Nowadays, taking positive responsibility comes in all shapes and sizes and more and more businesses are doing it, regardless of size. Donating time or talent for the benefit of others often turns out to be mutually rewarding.
At this month’s spotlight supper, find out how chamber members are thinking beyond the bottom line and putting their skills and knowledge to good use for the benefit of the community.
We’ll look beyond the traditional methods of donations and charity work and explore how businesses and individuals are getting involved in community work, mentoring and donating particular skills for local projects.
Our speakers are:
- Max Robinson from MCR Print
- James Togut from The Good Life for all
- Carl Southwell from Albion in the Community
The Spotlight Supper is a great way to network and hear from the businesses that drive the City. Each month we’ll hear from three speakers from different organisations who’ll speak candidly about their reasons for being, the challenges they’ve met and their top tips for success.
The atmosphere is, of course, friendly and relaxed and we hope you’ll leave inspired and informed.
We look forward to seeing you there.
