Brighton & Hove short listed for own local TV licence

One of the most exciting things happening in the city at the moment is that Brighton & Hove has made it onto the shortlist to get it’s own local TV licence.

A bid will be going in next week led by The Latest magazine and Juice FM.

Chamber member, Paula Seager from Natural PR will be at our Inspirational Breakfast tomorrow with a petition seeking business support for Brighton TV.

Sarah Springford, Director, Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce supports the bid:“Brighton businesses will benefit enormously from having a local TV station to advertise their products and services in a properly targeted way. At present the city is split in two by the regional tv stations [Meridian and BBC South TV], making it impossible for most businesses with a local interest to promote themselves effectively – it’s time we had our own Brighton TV!”

For more information about the proposal or to sign the petition please contact Paula e. paula@naturalpr.biz
