Chic décor, first-class comfort and a personalised service at Brighton’s new-look Blanch House

Following extensive refurbishment and under new ownership, one of Brighton’s most iconic Regency boutique hotels – Blanch House in Atlingworth Street, Kemp Town – reopened for business on Friday, 22 July 2011.

The stunning Grade II listed 12-bedroom hotel, located in a discreet Georgian terrace just a short walk from the City centre and a stone’s throw from the seafront, has been designed in keeping with the heritage of the Regency building whilst paying attention to both comfort and contemporary style.

In addition, the hotel has been developed as a top class venue with a ‘green’ ethos and is available for private functions including weddings, civil partnerships and celebrations as well as conferences, meetings, training sessions and art exhibitions. And that’s not all – guests are able to hire the entire hotel for exclusive use from just £1,500 (including VAT) per night Monday-Thursday; and from £1,800 for Friday-Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Behind the new-look Blanch House, purchased in May 2011, are two experienced Sussex-based business leaders who are passionate about the hotel industry. Jeremy Ornellas, Founder of Brighton and Hove-based consultancy Occupational Counselling Consultants, has joined forces with established professional hotelier Kerry Turner to form Seventeenten Hospitality Ltd and take Blanch House to the next stage in its evolution as a successful hotel.

Each of Blanch House’s highly individual guest rooms are now equipped to meet the needs of both the business and leisure markets with complimentary wi-fi, a state-of-the-art LED flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. All room rates include breakfast and VAT.
