Experienced ASP.NET Contractor Required

Chamber members Makemedia Ltd arelooking for a passionate, talented and dynamic .NET web developer for a six month contract to supplement their in-house team on a project starting at the beginning of February.

Job Description:

Candidates must have solid commercial experience and demonstrate strong .NET c#skills. You will have experience of developing large CMS driven sites in ASP.NET MVC preferably with Agile project development practices. You will be involved in the project right from the initial planning workshops through tosign off, so excellent planning, communication and client facing skills are required.

The project you will be involved in is an enterprise level new build. This project will give you the opportunity to enhance your skill set using the latest Microsoft web technologies such as Entity Framework and MVC.

As the project starts at the beginning of February, we are looking to shortlist by the 28th January and interview the following week.

The successful candidate will be required to work with the latest versions of ASP.NET 4.0, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC 3, jQuery, MsSQL and JavaScript. Theproject will be using continuous integration testing and you should also be happy using and planning Unit Tests as part of your rigorous development methodology.

The project will involve a large data sanitisation/migration exercise, so experience of planning and executing MSSQL migration routines would be beneficial.
