Exporting for Growth Prize Competition

Applications are invited from innovative UK based SMEs to enter a competition for The Exporting for Growth Prize, which UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) has launched for the most workable new export idea ready to be converted into a successful international opportunity. They are particularly interested to hear from first time or novice exporters.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the South East have until Friday 13 January 2012 to submit their entry. Shortlisted companies will then be invited to present their big export idea to a live audience of business leaders and a judging panel, who will then select the winning idea.

There will also be prizes for the second and third placed ideas, and all shortlisted companies will have access to professional mentoring support to develop their pitch presentation and time with a UKTI International Trade Adviser and subject to eligibility and resource an opportunity to be considered for UKTI’s award winning Passport to Export programme [with £1,000 of Business Development Credits] or Gateway to Global Growth programmes and other UKTI services.
