Intern needed to help with new Chamber website

The Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce are in the process of making some changes to our website and are looking for an intern to help 3 days a week for a month from mid-January to mid-February.

They would be working with a web designer called GuyAnderson of Zero G Media who is based at The Werks in Brighton and with the Chamber web group so we would expect them to gain valuable experience.

The work is however unpaid.

The intern will be responsible for taking hand sketchedmock-ups and turning them into annotated wireframes.

If they have the HTML skills it would be useful for them to create an HTML prototype.

They'll also be responsible for documenting the design process and making amends to the wireframes as needed.

Useful experience or skills would be:

  • information architecture
  • some experience in design
  • some experience building websites
  • web design skills (some understanding of internet technology)
  • interface design skills
  • user experience
  • HTML & CSS

Ifyou are interested or would like to find out more, please send your CV and cover letter/email to Alice Reeves at admin@businessinbrighton.org.uk
