Marshals needed to help with the Martlets Midnight Walk

The Martlets Hospice are looking for a few extra people to act as marshals on the night of the 17th June 2011.

The Martlets Midnight Walk is a fun event for ladies of all ages and is one of their major fundraising events of the year, raising many thousands of pounds for patient care.

The role of the marshals is to ensure that all the 900 ladies can safely take part in this 13 mile walk. They also need marshals to encourage the ladies as they make their way along the route.

All marshals work in pairs and are managed on the evening by Select Security, who have been successfully managing this part of the event for a number of years.

Ideally, you will need to be available from 10.00pm on the 17th June until 6.00am the following morning, but if you need to finish before 6.00am, they can still make use of your services.

All volunteer marshals will be fully briefed and well looked after throughout the night.

If you would like to volunteer or more information, please contact Rachel Chitty on 01273 747455 or email Rachel.chitty@themartletshospice.co.uk

Thank you and help them make it a night to remember!
