Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce is the central hub for businesses in the City and we’re getting bigger as businesses need our support more than ever.

The Chamber offers a wide range of activities and services to help its members grow their businesses, such as quality training, networking opportunities and marketing support through our website and social media.

We are looking for someone to join our friendly staff team to help us develop Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce and its services and continue to provide outstanding value for our members.

If you have a passion for business and want to be right in the heart of it all then this job is for you.

We need someone who understands and will be able to sell the benefits of being part of our exciting Chamber of Commerce – someone who will be able to enthusiastically promote the opportunities membership will bring to a business and can talk to local business people about why they should join.

You’ll need to be assertive, have lots of energy, have a customer focussed and friendly approach and be able to deliver results. You’ll also need excellent web skills to help us develop our website still further.

If you think you can do the following tasks then we would like to hear from you: 

  • Sell memberships – we have sustainable monthly targets you will have to meet
  • Support our members to get the most from their membership including on-line and face to face opportunities
  • Promote the Chamber on-line and enhance our social media presence
  • Work with our team of volunteers to develop the features and user friendliness of our website further
  • Keep the website up to date
  • Meet members and non-members at our Chamber events   

In return for the tasks we ask of you, the position is available as a full-time or part-time position (22.5 up to 37.5 hours per week) and flexible working is available. We will pay up to £20,000 pa (pro rata for part-time) with 24 days (plus bank holidays) holiday pay. Our office is based in Church Road, Hove.
