Local Issues

Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce's Local Issues Working Group regularly consults members about issues relevant to local business. Details of recent consultations are shown below.

For more information about the Local Issues Working Group, or to apply to join it, please contact the Chamber Administrator.

What is the Local Issues Working Group all about?

The brief given to the Local Issues Working Group is to:

1) Identify local issues that are of interest to our members;
2) Decide how best to consult our members on a particular issue (maybe through event(s) or through email / internet polling);
3) Formulate a Chamber position based on this consultation, so the Chamber can hopefully influence any outcomes on an issue.

How will the Local Issues Working Group be run:

1) It will hold regular meetings of the working group;
2) It will be inclusive of all interested members;
3) It will liaise with other Chamber Working Groups to facilitate events, surveys, PR and marketing.

The Local Issues Working Group is currently chaired by Peter Jenkins. If you are interested in coming along to meetings or getting involved in some respect then please contact Peter at peter@eadv.co.uk.
