From time to time we run or take part in projects or campaigns that we believe will benefit our members or help the city’s economy to thrive. Sometimes we tender for these projects, drawing on the skills and experience of our members. Some projects are fairly short, while others involve a longer-term commitment. Consulting and involving our members is key to every project we do, and through them we build valuable experience and connections.

Ride the Wave
Ride the Wave is a series of affordable events to support every business, from those just starting out to established companies. Now in its sixth year, it offers practical help to everyone in the city who wants to launch or grow a business. Ride the Wave is funded and led by Brighton & Hove City Council and is running from May to November 2017.
The Brighton & Hove Living Wage Campaign
Launched in 2012, the Brighton & Hove Living Wage Campaign aims to encourage local businesses to voluntarily pay all employees a living wage. More than 300 organisations have signed up, pledging to pay all employees at least £8.45 per hour. Could you join them? Sign up for free on our website.
We've launched a new project with Possability People, funded by the Department for Work and Pensions, aimed at getting the right people into the right jobs, helping them fulfil their potential and enhance the business that employs them. Find out more and get involved here.
