Chamber Breakfast April 2019
The "Many hats" Breakfast
We’ve all worn many hats in our time, but Andy Merricks has tried out so many, he must be running out of space in his wardrobe. Once upon a time he was a PE teacher, trying to convince reluctant students about the joys of exercise. He’s also been an insurance salesman, a partner in an IFA company, and resident money doctor for What Investment magazine. Perhaps most impressively of all, in 2002 he somehow found time to write a song that secured second place in the Radio 5 Live Unofficial World Cup song list.
Today he is both a fund manager and Head of Investment at Skerritts Wealth Management. He has become a go-to expert for the media on investments, being quoted regularly in national publications and on TV.
At our April breakfast, he will be talking about his journey and adding his thoughts on the current state of investment markets and the world economy.
So grab your hat (and perhaps an umbrella – it is April after all) and join us there.
Tickets go on sale Friday 22 March at 11am.
