Chamber Breakfast June 2019
The ‘Teenage’ Breakfast
Who’d be a teenager these days? With the constant pressure of social media, the rise of online bullying and many teens suffering mental health issues, it’s harder than ever to be a young adult.
It’s something that Daisy Cresswell has recognised and it’s equally something she’s determined to do something about. Daisy founded Make (Good) Trouble Productions, a social enterprise that aims to give teenagers the resilience, tools and courage to make a difference in their locality and in the world.
Project so far include Brighton5, a series of short films by teens that will be distributed to schools and colleges throughout the city. There’s also a radio show called Raising Teens which has been produced in collaboration with the BBC.
At our June breakfast, Daisy will talk about the challenges of building a social enterprise from scratch and the importance of asking the right questions.
