The 'Man Bites Dog journey' Lunch - Look up, scale up!

Claire Mason worked on her first business at 14, published a book at 25 and aged 30 founded Man Bites Dog – a multi award-winning thought leadership consultancy with global reach.

Entrepreneurship, innovation and a focus on the ideas economy has driven her vision. Man Bites Dog specialises in partnering with knowledge-rich businesses to turn intellectual capital into competitive advantage, developing their corporate purpose and thinking. Their work has built reputation, deepened relationships and generated revenue. (Some of their reports have been cited in Westminster, Brussels and the White House.)

At this lunch, Claire will explain her vision that to sustain the independent thinking that drives Brighton’s unique culture, we need more start-ups - and our small businesses to grow. Claire will share her personal insights on scaling up from her first childhood venture to building Man Bites Dog as a powerhouse of big ideas for the world’s smartest companies. She will also reveal the secrets of her decade of research on what makes small businesses grow big - without growing up!

So, find out how this Brighton-based business has scaled up to gain global impact. Join us for a great two course lunch at Murmur, with plenty of time for networking and questions with Claire.
