We are a genuine WW2 air raid shelter at Downs Junior School, Ditchling Road, Brighton that has been restored by a team of volunteers and is an interactive museum for all ages.
We will be holding tours of the shelter on 11/12th May and 18/19th May. Not only will there be tours of the shelter itself but also exhibits and photos of wartime Brighton, veterans will be giving talks on what is was like to live in Brighton at the time and also what is was like to be an evacuee and 1940’s entertainment throughout the day.
There will also be various stalls and a tea shop.
Tickets are available from the Brighton Fringe:
Tickets will also be available on the day too but are strictly on a first come first served basis.
We look forward to seeing you all there at this very special event.
