‘From Ideas to Action: Using Innovation to Grow Your Business’ is an inspiring and informative half-day course (think part workshop, part peer-support session, part strategic away day) designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to innovate within your own business or place of work.
Who is this course for?
This interactive course is for female founders, social entrepreneurs and women in business who would like to find out how they can use innovation to create more value for their customers, develop competitive advantage, improve their processes and increase their profitability.
This course is open to anyone who self-identifies as a woman. Members of the transgender and non-binary communities are welcome.
What will you learn?
During this course, you will learn about ‘everyday innovation’. You will discover that innovation is not just for “big business” – it is something businesses and social enterprises of all sizes can do every day to create positive impact and achieve better results.
You will find out about the difference between creativity and innovation, and how you can apply creative thinking techniques in your work. You will also explore in which areas businesses can innovate, and – with the support of the other participants – you will identify where you can potentially innovate within your own business or place of work.
In this highly engaging and practical session, you will learn how to:

You will also make new connections with other female founders, social entrepreneurs and women in business from Sussex and beyond.
Who is delivering this course?
The course is delivered by Clare Griffiths, an award-winning university educator and business support practitioner whose expertise lies in enabling small business owners to bring their ideas to life.
