Why join?

Find out how you can benefit from being a member of the Brighton Chamber...

When we set up in business two years ago one of the first things we did was to join the Chamber and what a great decision that turned out to be. Moving from a large organisation to working for yourself can feel terribly isolating but thanks to all the lovely contacts we made at the Chamber we had lots of support along the way.

I highly recommend the Chamber inspirational breakfasts. Not only do they provide a great opportunity to develop and establish good working relationships with the Brighton business community in a relaxed and informal environment, but they also never fail to inspire – with outstanding guest speakers who are always interesting, motivating and entertaining.

Thank you for all your amazing hard work and support this year. B&H Chamber should be hailed as Sussex’s leading Chamber. It has been enormously beneficial being a member when setting up new business’ and I look forward to being part of the chamber volunteer team again next year.

So why join the chamber?

We are the voice of the city’s business community and we’re passionate about supporting our members to achieve their goals and objectives.

We also work with organisations, such as the Council, on important local issues which affect our members, for example major developments or the economic strategy.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, an artist, writer, or a corporate professional, we’d like to offer you a warm welcome.

What does the Chamber do?

Brighton Chamber connects local businesses. We provide high quality networking opportunities within the local area, enabling members to engage with each other in a relaxed and informal way. We encourage our members to attend events regularly and to try out a few to see which ones suit them best.

In addition, we hold regular workshops and training sessions aimed at educating and supporting our members to grow their business expertise.

What are the benefits of joining?

Becoming a member enables you to engage with your local business community - we're always happy to introduce you to people at the events who could be good contacts.

Your business will feature in our members directory, where you can add your company details, list your services and add your logo. You can also add staff members and links to social media, great for SEO.

We encourage members to write blogs and articles for our website, which are disseminated to a much wider online audience. There's the notice board for offers and news, and members can add their own events to our calendar.

Also, have you considered delivering a 'Bite-sized Learning' session to other members? Running a session is a great way to share your knowledge and expertise.

We have a wide range of events for you to sponsor, giving you the chance to tell everyone at the event what you do!

What makes our Chamber different?

We aim to make a difference to your business, so we have a modern identity that underpins our progressive approach. We have a team of full-time and volunteer experts who design and co-ordinate our strategy for supporting members.

We’re a combination of friendly and professional and pride ourselves on supporting our members to the best of our ability.

Being part of the Chamber means:

  • Having a higher profile in the city
  • Finding new customers and clients
  • Getting free or affordable advice and support
  • Building your business skills and knowledge
  • Sharing your highs, lows and possibilities in great company

Starting at just £14 + VAT per month, joining will be one of the smartest business decisions you’ll make this year.
